Frequently Asked Questions

Everything buyers and sellers ask us — grading, testing, battery health, warranty, shipping, and what happens if something goes wrong.

01 About refurbished

Are refurbished electronics good?

Yes — when they're graded honestly. A refurbished device has been inspected, tested, cleaned, and (where needed) repaired before being listed. The real risk with second-hand tech isn't "refurbished vs new" — it's "tested vs untested". Every unit on our site passes a full functionality check before being graded.

Are refurbished laptops good?

Yes, if the seller actually tests them. Every MacBook, Dell, Lenovo, HP and ASUS we sell is checked for keyboard, trackpad, ports, display, speakers, camera and battery health before grading. Measured battery health is published on each product page — the spec most sellers quietly omit. Grade definitions live on our grading page.

Are refurbished iPhones reliable?

Reliable when battery health and device history are disclosed, which ours are. We test the screen, battery, cameras, speakers, ports and buttons, then reset every unit to factory state. Grade A is near-new; Grade B and C are cosmetically worn but fully functional — battery health is listed on every product page.

What's the difference between refurbished and used?

"Used" means previously owned — nothing else. "Refurbished" means inspected, tested, cleaned and (where needed) repaired to a working state before being listed. Everything on our storefront is refurbished and graded; we don't sell untested devices unless they're explicitly in the For Parts category.

02 Our process

How do you test your devices?

Every device goes through a multi-point check: power and charging, core functionality (screen, keyboard, ports, cameras, audio), battery health where applicable, and performance benchmarks for CPUs, RAM and GPUs. The full testing breakdown is on our grading page.

03 Shipping & delivery

Do you ship outside Ireland?

Yes — we ship across Ireland, the EU-27, EEA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway), the UK and Switzerland. Ireland delivery is a flat €10 and the rest of our coverage area is a flat €25, regardless of how many items are in the basket. Orders over €200 ship free everywhere we deliver; the exact amount is calculated at checkout before you pay.

How long does delivery take?

Irish orders typically arrive in 2–4 business days by courier. Most EU, EEA, UK and Swiss destinations take 4–7 business days. You'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships, and we email confirmation at every step.

04 Returns & warranty

What if my device arrives faulty?

Contact us within 14 days for a free return and replacement, repair or refund. Warranty defects are covered by our 12-month warranty policy. Physical damage caused after delivery isn't covered — full eligibility rules are on the warranty page.

Can I return a refurbished product if I change my mind?

Yes — you have 14 days from delivery to return any fully functional item for a full refund. "For Parts / Not Working" listings are non-refundable unless the device turns out to be mis-described. Full return terms live on our warranty page.

05 Selling & business

Do you offer business or bulk pricing?

Yes. We work with businesses on bulk purchases, IT fleet refreshes, and enterprise hardware liquidation. Request a tailored quote on our B2B page or by contacting us directly.

How do I sell my phone or laptop to you?

Fill in the short form on our sell page, upload a couple of photos of your device, and we'll email you an offer — usually within an hour during working hours. If you accept, we arrange free courier pickup across Ireland, the EU-27, EEA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway), the UK and Switzerland, and pay you the same day we inspect and approve your device.
